The House Radio-Television Gallery is one of three press rooms or "galleries" serving as newsrooms for members of the media who cover the House of Representatives. We serve as a liaison between Congressional offices and the electronic media. Most major broadcast news organizations have regularly staffed bureaus in this office. Under House Rules, the Radio-Television Gallery, like the other House and Senate media galleries, is under the control of an executive committee of correspondents. Journalists administer the Gallery and decide who qualifies for Gallery press credentials. This website is updated daily to provide timely information about Congressional proceedings and media events occurring on the House side of the Capitol. We hope you find it useful. Sincerely, Olga Ramirez Kornacki |
